Roy Hilton, founder of Hilton Electrical, Automation, & Testing Services, Inc. (HEATSINC), started the company in 2012. No stranger to the industry, Roy has worked in various roles within the electrical testing and commissioning world, bringing with him over 30 years of coveted experience. HEATSINC was born out of his conviction to provide work that is unmatched in quality, uphold the highest of industry standards, and create stability for his employees.
Operations began in the Hilton’s home in Dublin, a city strategically located in the heart of Georgia. Dublin is known for its southern hospitality and charm, and it is an easy drive from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It wasn’t long before we outgrew our home-based office, and in 2014 we moved to a new, 18,000-square-foot facility in East Dublin. Our growth has allowed us to focus on expanding our project management services and an in-house fabrication shop for the design and build of proprietary electrical control panels.
We are a family-owned company with 150+ full-time field employees. As members of the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to support our community where our employees live, work, and play. While providing services across the country and the world, we remain family oriented and integrity-focused.
President and CEO
Roy Hilton is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the HS family of companies.
In 1985, Roy Hilton began working in electrical and industrial construction after a successful tour in the Marine Corps where he received his technical education. He worked on numerous large industrial projects holding positions in electrical controls, supervision, and commissioning.
He started electrical testing in 1994 with a national division of Raytheon doing utility work at nuclear plants and power generation plants. During this time, he served in field supervision, superintendent and general foreman roles, and held project management positions on government contracts. On the first phase of the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline project, Roy was the lead protection and control field engineer for the United States section of the project.
During the 2000s, Roy ran an electrical contracting company and in 2010 he began sub-contracting for a utility company performing testing and commissioning. The need for high-quality services with a commitment to safety and reliability was great, so in 2012 Roy formed HEATSINC as a full-service electrical testing and maintenance company.
